Share and Learn at the CBA Showcase of Marketing and Communications

Tuesday, December 1, 2009 – Thursday, December 3, 2009

One of the favorite activities at each CBA Annual Conference is browsing the display of member communications. Hosted by the Communications and Education Group, all attendees take away dynamic new ideas on compelling communications and targeted marketing. You’re invited to bring samples of your organization’s communications that demonstrate the variety information delivered to your membership. Show what your group developed in the past year that conveyed a clear and convincing message. How did you communicate the challenging economic news and its effect on your audience? Do you have a good “before and after” story? How did you communicate benefit changes? Did you try something new? The CBA Showcase focuses CBA members’ attention on the importance and value of marketing communications. Everyone can request free copies of the creative on display. But we need to populate the showcase: the more samples, the more opportunity for take-away and learning.

The CBA Showcase includes these categories:

  1. Newsletters and Annual reports
  2. Health and Wellness materials
  3. Member Education
  4. Website Designs
  5. Pensions, Investments, and Annuities materials
  6. New logos or brands
  7. Other communications projects

Bring as many samples from the above categories as you like. Label your materials by category and organization. Include any background information that you wish to help describe each piece. Be creative. Feel free to mount your samples on stand-up poster board. Be sure to include your contact information.

Bring all Showcase items to the CBA Desk when you arrive at the hotel.
